Florida has 1,045,281 acres of its 2,252,761 crop land acres under irrigation.

Florida farmland and buildings are valued at $22.1 billion, $553,448 per farm and $2,149 per acre.

Florida farmers paid more than $1.287 billion to contracted and hired farm workers in 1997.

Florida farmers spent more than 1.299 billion on feed, seed, fertilizer and pesticides in 1997.

Total Florida production expenses were $4.66 billion in 1997.
