In recent years, Chinese cabbage has grown considerably in popularity because it's bulky and economical. It is used primarily as a salad vegetable in North America.

Chinese cabbage has only 20 calories per cup, and contains only a trace of fat. It is an excellent source of calcium, potassium, vitamin A, and folacin.
Storage:
Chinese cabbage should be stored at 35 degrees fahrenheit, with a relative humidity of 95 percent. Storage life at this temperature is about one week.
