Parsley
History and Facts: Parsley is most commonly seen as a garnish and adds a mild, sweet flavor to foods. Often it is added to French, Italian and Greek dishes. There are two types of parsley, those with curly fringed leaves, and Italian parsley, which has flat leaves.
Nutritional Value:
Parsley is good source of vitamins A, B and C, and is rich in iron. Parsley's high chlorophyll content makes it an excellent breath freshener.
Storage:
Parsley should be stored at 37 to 38 degrees fahrenheit.
