As a Development Representative I, Mary Cremeans writes grants and assists various farmer/producer organizations with information about grant opportunities and grant procurement. She manages the Peanut and Soybean Market Order contracts and represents the Department at special events to promote Florida's agricultural products. Mary is the division coordinator for the Florida TaxWatch/Davis Productivity Awards program. During annual state legislative sessions, Mary analyzes and tracks bills with potential impact to Florida agriculture.
Before moving to Florida, Mary grew up in the Midwest. She has a background in telecommunications and finance. She graduated with honors from Tampa College with a bachelor's degree in data processing and a bachelor's degree in business administration. In 1986, she graduated with a master's degree in business administration from Nova University . She is a Certified Quality Analyst (CQA) and holds a NASD Series 6 Securities License as well as Florida insurance licenses for life, health and annuities.
