Why Teach My Students About Agriculture?
Agriculture affects everyone's life every day. Agriculture provides food, clothing and shelter, yet few individuals understand the challenge of producing commodities and bringing them from the farm to the consumer. For agriculture to continue to provide safe, wholesome food and supply abundant fiber and the many affordable necessities we Americans enjoy, citizens must understand and support wise agricultural policies.
