Main crop: strawberries

The combination of strawberries and spinach topped with a sweet-tangy dressing is delicious!

Fresh Strawberry Spinach Salad 1-10oz pkg of fresh Florida spinach 1 pt fresh strawberries, washed, hulled and sliced 1/2 cup sugar 1 T poppyseeds 1 T minced onion 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. paprika 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/4 cup cider vinegar

Toss the spinach and sliced strawberries in a large bowl; set aside. Place the remaining ingredients except the oil and vinegar, in a blender.  While the blender is running, slowly add the oil and vinegar until thoroughly blended.  Drizzle over strawberries and spinach. Toss well to coat.  Yields about 4 generous servings. (1-1/4 cups dressing).
