Tony Fendrick has served the Division of Marketing and Development for the past 24 years. His primary focus has been developing international markets for Florida's livestock, fresh fruits and vegetables, value-added and agribusiness products.
He currently serves as the lead contact for the United States Livestock Genetic Export Association (USLGE) that provides funding for Florida's international livestock promotion effort.
Citrus, tobacco and cotton marketing orders have been added to his duties the past two years. The three commodities generate over $2.5 million each year that are used for research and promotion.
Tony spent three years with R.J. Reynolds tobacco company in Nebraska before moving to Florida in 1969.
