Marie Holmes is a Marketing Specialist III with 32 years experience in the Bureau of Seafood and Aquaculture Marketing. She serves as a resource person in the collection of data, and handles questions from consumer groups, wholesale, and retail seafood buyers on the proper handling and preparation of seafood. She also assists in developing seafood recipes for styling food photography sessions.

Marie is responsible for the promotional materials inventory, distribution, test kitchen lab, shipping and warehouse storage space.

Marie has received many commendations for outstanding service, including the Florida Department of Natural Resources Employee of the Month, and the Ralph Aylesworth Award from Southeastern Fisheries Association as an outstanding government worker.

Born in Tallahassee, Florida, she graduated from Lincoln High School (now known as Sail).
