Evelyn Huffcut joined the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in 1996 as a web developer. In 2001, she transferred to the Division of Marketing and Development's International Section. Currently she is a Development Representative II in the Information Support Section.
A native of Jacksonville, North Carolina, she earned a bachelor's degree in graphic design, advertising and marketing from the University of Georgia, and an art education certification from Brenau College in Atlanta. She also attended Hollins College and Savannah College of Art and Design, where she studied printmaking, sculpture and art education. Additional marketing experience includes seven years in advertising and marketing in Atlanta. She also served as a high school educator. Prior to her appointment to the Department, Evelyn designed publications and web sites for the Florida Department of State.
Evelyn Huffcut speaks Spanish and French and has traveled extensively in the United States, Central America, Europe and Asia.
