Produce Firms Invited to Participate in Trade Show
TALLAHASSEE Florida Agriculture Commissioner Bob Crawford today urged Florida produce firms to showcase their products at the Produce Marketing Associations 50th Annual Convention and Exposition in Atlanta, October 23-26.
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is coordinating an exhibit at the exposition, which is expected to attract more than 12,000 retailers, wholesalers, growers, shippers and brokers involved in the produce business around the world.
The Departments "Fresh from Florida" pavilion will provide a showcase for growers and commodity groups promoting Florida agricultural products. The pavilion will be a 20 x 50-foot island booth, with a game to draw attention and attract buyers.
The pavilion will accommodate 15 exhibitors in individual booths, which will prominently display the exhibitors name and provide space for the display of products and promotional materials.
