September 20, 2001 Seminars to help Florida growers export products will be held in Orlando and Miami TALLAHASSEE -- Florida Agriculture Commissioner Charles H. Bronson today announced that his department will host two exporting seminars to help Florida agricultural producers export products in the increasingly complex global market. The seminars, "Go Global: Ag OverSeas," will be presented by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services on October 22 in Orlando and November 5 in Miami. "These seminars will provide producers, exporters and buyers of Florida agricultural products with valuable information about exporting agricultural products," Bronson said. "I encourage those who are interested in entering or expanding their markets abroad to attend these events to gain insight into the complexities of international trade." The registration deadline for both events is October 8. The cost is $35 per person; Florida Agricultural Promotional Campaign (FAPC) members may attend for the discounted price of $25. The registration fee includes continental breakfast, morning coffee break, luncheon, and afternoon coffee break.
