The Food Recovery Resource Guide 2000 - 2001
Floridas Food Recovery Program is operated in cooperation with the states farmers, non-profit organizations and food relief agencies. Prospective and bona fide charitable or non-profit organizations that provide food for the needy or collect and transport food to such organizations, are required to make every reasonable effort to contact each other in order to provide for the collection and distribution of any surplus or excess canned or perishable food. This booklet lists organizations that have indicated an interest in the Food Recovery Program and the types of foods they have the capability to recover.
