Nopalitos Marketing Report

Nopalitos, the leaf pads of a cactus plant once they are cut up and prepared for eating, is a popular food item among certain ethnic groups. This report presents information about nopalitos, as well as the findings from a study conducted by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services regarding the preferences of Hispanic consumers. Findings, methodology, demographic shifts, taste and packaging preferences are included to assist nopalitos producers and marketers in reaching Hispanic consumers.
