Fresh From Florida 200 Returns During Rolex 24 At Daytona Weekend
"Fresh from Florida" will return as the title sponsor of the 2008 Grand-Am KONI Challenge Series at Daytona International Speedway, DIS officials announced today.
The Fresh From Florida 200 at Daytona will run at the World Center of Racing on January 25, 2008, prior to the prestigious twice-around-the-clock 46th Rolex 24 at Daytona on January 26-27.
“Fresh from Florida” is the logo of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ worldwide marketing campaign, a program that promotes Florida’s 280 commercial crops to consumers throughout the United States and around the world.
"We're proud to have Fresh From Florida return as title sponsor for one of the most exciting weekends here at DIS," said Speedway President Robin Braig. "The Rolex 24 At Daytona and the Fresh From Florida 200 will offer fans some of the most competitive road-racing on the Grand-Am circuit."
The Grand-Am KONI Challenge Series is sanctioned by the Grand American Road Racing Association, the premier road racing organization in North America.
