Florida Fruit Recipe
Fruit Trifle

Ingredients |

cream cheese, softened |
1 cup |
powdered sugar |
1 quart |
whipping cream |
1 tablespoon |
triple sec (optional) |
1 1/2 cups |
blueberries |
1 1/2 cups |
blackberries |
1 1/2 cups |
cantaloupe, cut into bite-sized pieces |
1 1/2 cups |
strawberries, cut into bite-sized pieces |
1 1/2 cups |
mango, cut into bite-sized pieces |

angel food cake |

Preparation |
Mix cream cheese and powered sugar in mixer bowl until well blended. Beat the whipping cream until sticks to spatula. Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture. Add the triple sec, if desired. Set aside some fruit to decorate the top of the trifle. Layer remaining fruit, cream cheese, and cake in a glass trifle bowl, in the following order:
1. cream cheese mixture sufficient to cover the bottom of the bowl
2. one-half of remaining fruits
3. one-half of angel food cake
4. one-half of remaining cream cheese mixture
5. remaining fruit
6. remaining angel food cake
7. remaining cream cheese mixture
8. decorate the top with reserved fruit
Refrigerate immediately.
