Crust: Cream together butter and sugar with a mixer until fluffy; add egg, baking powder, salt and vanilla till mixture is smooth; add flour and mix till a smooth dough is formed. Place finish dough in between two sheet of wax paper and refrigerate for about 20 minutes. Remove from refrigerator and roll the dough out to about a 1/4 inch thickness and in a round shape. Place the dough in a greased 12-inch pizza pan and bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven for 25 minutes or until crust is a light brown. Cool completely.
