Florida Seafood Recipe

Crabmeat Casserole

1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
2 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons steak sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 pint whipping cream
2 pounds claw or lump crabmeat
1 1/2 cups bread crumbs

In a medium saucepan, cream butter and flour together and add milk slowly. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Add the next six ingredients; stir to mix. In a 2-quart casserole, make two layers of: crabmeat, bread crumbs, and whipping cream. Pour sauce over all. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top and bake in oven at 300 degrees F for 40 minutes.
