Florida Vegetable Recipe
Chilled Avocado Gazpacho

2 pounds (about 5) |
small avocados, peeled and chopped |

jalapeno, seeded and minced |
Pinch |
crushed red pepper flakes |
1/3 cup |
fresh lime juice |
3 cups |
chicken broth |
1 cup |
half and half or cream |
3/4 teaspoon |
salt |
1/2 teaspoon |
pepper |
1-1/2 tablespoon |
fresh cilantro, chopped |

Preparation |
Combine first 3 ingredients, 3 tablespoons of lime juice and 1 cup of the broth in a food processor. Process until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and whisk in the remaining 2 cups of broth, cream, salt, pepper and cilantro. Chill. Serve garnished with shrimp and/or cilantro and avocado slices.
