Florida Vegetable Recipe

Cabbage Stuffing

Ingredients  
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 sweet onion, diced small
1/4 pound brown sugar cured bacon, minced
1 head cabbage, julienne
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon black pepper
  salt, to taste
 
Preparation

Place a medium-size sauté pan on medium/high heat. Add olive oil to pan. Then add onion and bacon and cook until translucent. Blend in cabbage, butter, salt and pepper. Remove from heat and serve or use as a stuffing.
