Title: Africanized Bees In Florida 2
Type: TV PSA
Length: 30 seconds
Year: 2007

Honeybees in the familiar white boxes are essential for growing food.

Managed by professional beekeepers, these gentle honeybees pollinate many Florida crops.

Africanized bees, which have recently arrived in Florida, behave differently. They’re very defensive, and are a threat to people and animals.

Africanized bees will take up residence almost anywhere ... possibly, near your home.

Look and listen for Africanized bee colonies. If you find one, leave it alone, and call a pest control professional.
