Tony Young has been with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services since 1997. A Florida native, Tony earned a bachelor's degree in hospitality administration from Florida State University in 1990.
Tony began his career with the Department in its Division of Consumer Services where he worked as a Consumer Complaint Analyst on the 1-800-HELPFLA consumer hotline. He transferred to the Division of Marketing and Development, Bureau of State Farmers' Markets, where he helped develop and implement many programs, including WIC/FMNP, Community Farmers' Markets, Fairs, and AgVenture Services.
In 2002, Tony transferred to the Bureau of Development and Information, where he is currently a Marketing Specialist I within the Direct Support Services Section. He assists with marketing campaigns by providing research and competitive intelligence. He also acts as the layout/graphic designer/research adviser for the Florida Agri-Journal.
