Wax Jambu

Native to the Malay Archepeligo. Harvested in Florida April-June. Typical size is 1 1/4 to 2 1/2 inches long. This fruit is picked ready to eat. Flesh is white to off-white, crisp, aromatic with a mild, delicate flavor. Best eaten fresh or may be refrigerated up to 7 days. Fair source of vitamin C and potassium. Use fresh and in cooking.
